The Heart Behind FLOLANGO

FLOLANGO is named after Izuo-Ere’s grandmother, Florence Kalango — a woman remembered for her light, warmth, and gentle strength.

Her name became the beginning of something much larger: a world rooted in creativity, expression, beauty, and the belief that what we create can carry meaning.

FLOLANGO began with makeup and poetry, bringing color and language together in unexpected ways. Poems from Izuo-Ere’s first book, Izuo — (Savior), lived inside the earliest collections, making each piece part product, part expression.
